Circus - An untold Story

Talent that goes waste in our country. I think every one of my readers have been to a circus. Circus is a great place to have fun and in today’s world where everything is out and open I think it’s the place one can have great time with family without being embarrassed.

So, here’s the thing, not a long back I went to circus with my family, obviously to have fun. It wasn’t that much of fun and now a question pops in mind why? When I was young circus was so much fun then why it’s not fun anymore. A simple answer to this question is, I did not had capability to think at that time. But when I went to circus this time I had capability to see what the people of that circus were going through. Such talented people, so much of hard work and getting nothing for their talent and hard work.

I was amazed to see the smiles on their faces. That particular moment was very precious. I felt lucky, alive, emotional, happy all at the same time. Since I was very much attracted to the concept of circus I went backside just to see how it feels to be in circus. And trust me that day I learned something valuable. You should find the reasons to be happy if you can’t then just be happy that you have this life. Finding reasons to be sad is fucking easy. We keep crying over what we don’t have without even acknowledging what we have. Back stories of that circus were amazing. There was this lady who performed fucking hard stunts in front of me, was a mom and backstage she was feeding her baby daughter with a big smile on her face.

There were people who were staying away from their families. But one thing that struck in my mind was there was not even a single person who said that being in circus is there passion. And I had conversation with plenty of people there. Some of them even got emotional when I asked about their stories and how they ended up in circus. These people entertain a lot of people with a smile on their faces but their life span is very short. And when I say their life span is short I am not saying it in terms of days they will live but in terms of their working life. These people are trained to do stunts and work in circus only. But after a particular time, they are fired from circus because of their age.

And then the actual problem starts, they are trained to do circus only and they don’t know anything else to do. They don’t know how to live in society as they have never been in one. There circus group is there life and once they abandon them they have nothing better to do. Even some of them attempts suicide. Such talent, hard work goes in waste. I don’t know I just feel sad that we humans are in that era where we don’t even acknowledge such people around our societies.
